Scripts in Progress / Projects in Development

Think inspired. Think beyond the beyond...

.

Scripts in Development or in the Writing Process:

The following scripts are in various stages of writing, soon to be completed projects:

The Perfect Screwdriver - A fired auto mechanic retreats to the farthest outskirts of Phoenix in what he hopes will be off of the grid despite his knack for attracting controversy.

Untitled - When an asteroid impact in the Pacific unleashes a tsunami on the California coast that floods nuclear power plants, long hidden dark secrets surface. This is a fun, campy sci-fi premise with a scare the bedookies out of you environmental impact yarn blended with romantic tension, high drama, an expose of priorities. It's perfect execution of multi-genres.

Scripts in Revision:

These scripts are fully written and are in the process of being revisited, tweaked and tucked.

A Temporary Thing - (Drama, R) - We follow an Albuquerque police officer on a bizarre journey across the Land of Enchantment after his gunned down partner's spirit infuses his body. Wacky, cosmic and endearing, it becomes this unsuspecting cop's mission to fulfill his partner's secret dream - uncovering a government run Internet conspiracy.

Cyllene - (Drama, R) When the director of an alien scream flick is arrested for pandering on the set, the investors insist that his lead female actor take over the project. Only thing, she prefers to make a movie with a great story and solid plot points, not the B- films she's been working.

The Statesman - (Drama, R) A counselor who aspires to be the first female drummer in the drum corps, The Statesman, meets a Senatorial candidate who provides a means to her goal... but a means she must reject.

Documentary projects:

Wahconah: The Jewel of Baseball's Eden - When a document from 1791 was found in Pittsfield, Massachusetts regarding playing baseball (spelled bafeball), my home town assumed the claim of being the seat of baseball in America. Wahconah Park, built in 1892, was the premiere park in town. Resurrected from pending razing, surviving floods and political silliness, this grand park boasts a field that saw the likes of Chief Bender, Satchel Paige, Casey Stengel, Lou Gerhrig, Greg Maddox and Mark Grace. We trace the park's history, political shenanigans and a nefarious campaign by General Electric to dispose of PCB's and dang near kill the hopes of baseball and the town. Several baseball notables already attached.

I have two other baseball documentaries ideas in development, but given the surge of such films appearing on HBO, Showtime and ESPN, I'll keep these under my baseball cap for the time being.

If none of the posted loglines and scripts above pique your interest, let me know what you're looking to produce. There just might be a match in my file drawer full of story ideas.
